Coastal Bend Women's Center is Hiring an Accountant Near Corpus Christi, TX
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and payroll procedures, tax payments, fixed assets and purchasing activity. To be successful in this role, you should have previous accounting experience and spot numerical mistakes. Accountant will provide accurate monthly financial reporting and cash flows of our business, while ensuring expenditures do not exceed budgetary limits.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years work experience as an Accountant and preferably 2 years in a health care organization.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Advance MS Excel skills
- Experience with Sage 100 Accounting Software preferred
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
